We operate a zero tolerance policy.
This covers any abuse or bad behaviour towards our staff, doctors or any other patients. This could be physical, verbally or in any threatening manner.
GPs and staff have a right to care for others without fear or being attacked, abused or treated badly in any way. Our team are hear to help and support you to ensure you get the right treatment. To fulfil our services, we ask for a mutual respect between staff and patients.
We will not tolerate aggressive behaviour, be it physical, verbal or online. This behaviour may result in your removal from our practice list and in extreme cases we may contact the police.
Below are some of the types of behaviour that are not acceptable:
- Using bad language
- Shouting or raising voices at practice staff
- Physical violence towards any member of our team or other patients
- We will not accept repeated or unrealistic demands that cause stress to our staff. We will meet requests wherever possible.
- Bullying or manipulative behaviour towards staff.
- Obtaining medication or medical services fraudulently.
