How to Register
Anyone in England can register with a practice. At the Crown Medical Centre we have a large catchment area covering most of Taunton as well as some of the surrounding area. Reception can advise whether your address is within the area or you can use our postcode checker below.
To register with the surgery, you can complete the registration form online below or pick one up from reception. You do not need to show ID or provide an NHS number to register. However, you can find your NHS number on the NHS website.
Once we have registered you with the practice, we will request your medical notes from your current GP surgery. Please note this can take up to 48 hours.
If you wish to have online access to your medical records, you will need to provide reception with 2 forms of identification, including photographic ID and proof of address.

If you are staying in the area and have run out of your regular medications, you are able to contact your usual GP surgery and ask them to organise an electronic prescription to be sent to a pharmacy near where you are staying.
